Heavy Metal: Small Details, Big Impact with our Fiber Laser

The Ultimate Precision As my workshop grew, I realized there was one territory I hadn't fully explored yet: Bare Metals. While my other lasers are masters of wood and acrylic, engraving deep and permanent marks into metal requires a different kind of power. That’s why I recently brought the Fiber Laser into the GiftsDecor family. I’m still mastering all its secrets, but the results even now are breathtaking.

Small Size, Big Meaning We started with the essentials. One of the first projects on the Fiber laser was our series of Personalised Pet ID Tags. Whether it’s a bone shape for a dog or a sleek round tag for a cat, the Fiber laser allows us to engrave names and phone numbers so clearly that they will never rub off, no matter how much your pet runs around.

Beyond the Basics Every day I spend with this machine, I discover something new. We’ve moved on to Personalised Bottle Opener Keyrings—the perfect small gift for groomsmen or birthdays—and even Custom Engraved Metal Ashtrays with complex photo logos. The level of detail we can get on a simple piece of aluminium or stainless steel is something I couldn't have imagined a year ago.

Professional Edge (Metal Business Cards) One of the most exciting things we are testing right now are Black Aluminium Business Cards. Imagine handing a potential client a laser-engraved metal card instead of paper. It’s heavy, it’s cold to the touch, and it immediately says "Premium." It’s the perfect example of how this technology is taking GiftsDecor from a hobby to a professional design studio.

The Journey Continues GiftsDecor has come a long way from that first wooden 3D puzzle with my son. Today, we have the tools to work with wood, acrylic, glass, and now metal.
